COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf? Humulus Lupulus, the wolf bine can be fierce, but L’il Red Rye, the grain at the heart of this beer, has more than enough character to run with the wolves. Amarillo and Simcoe hops combine with the earthy spice of rye, and the richness of Munich and caramel malts to create a beer that’s well worth a short cut through the woods.

Pours copper, large lasting head. Nose shows soft bready malt, spicy rye, along with some spicy and herbal hops with a hint of pine. Flavours include more spicy rye and bready notes alongside piny, spicy and grassy hops and an assertive bitterness.

Samtzu (448) - Palmerston North, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 10, 2016
650ml bottle. Pours a murky brown with little white head. Starts off similar to a brown ale with a substantial rye profile which ends in an almost bitter style.

beer-yum (1710) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 11, 2016
Restrained aroma in a copper brown pour. Full bodied flavor with a spicy twist of rye to surprise. Smooth clean finish doesn’t overpower the body.
