Californian road trip inspired IPA pouring for the first time at the 2015 Westcoast IPA Challenge at Malthouse. Packed full of Simcoe, Amarillo, and Citra hops and golden like the Golden State itself.

There are ipa’s and then there is this. Big hedonistic aroma citrus, tropical fruit and pine. Cloudy orange amber pour. Flavor is big too, orange, Mandarin and long bitter finish. Holds the abv exceedingly well.

Fruktig god aroma. Bittert med relativt lang ettersmak.. gylden fin farge. Forholdsvis flatt øl ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lett tåkete lys brun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter moden sydhavsfrukt, fersken, aprikos og noe karamell. Lett middels lang bitterhet. Noe oljete.

larsga (7656) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 28, 2017
Big offwhite lasting head. Clear brownish coppery still body. Resiny sugary tropical fruit aroma with spicy floral notes. Sweetish resiny tropical fruit taste with spicy wine grape notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild, soft mouthfeel, slightly flat. Dry resiny wooden spicy aftertaste with tropical fruit notes. Nice, clean, fresh, and highly drinkable despite being very powerfully flavoured. (0.5l can ... which I’ve forgotten where from.)

44 cl can, BB Oct 29th 2017. Slightly hazy, golden amber, thick off-white head, low to medium carbonation. Aroma is hoppy with citrus and pine needle notes, a bit tropical fruit at the back. Mouthfeel is "wet", medium and bitter. Taste is citrus and pine, again tropical fruity notes. For me, personally, this is not a great beer.

Can at Stewart Island. Pours a clearish golden with a small white head. Sweet with a light bitterness. Aromas of all the hops I like. Floral with sprucey and citric notes. Also a mellow malty backbone. Medium to full bodied. Medium to soft carbonation. Bitter finish with more spruce.

Sevenlee (1846) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - DEC 27, 2016
Pours a hazy golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, grapes, hay, peach, caramel, some pine apples. Taste is medium sweet leading to a big hoppy finish.
