KØLF 171117. Golden-yellow color with a white head. Aroma is citrus, coriander, fruit, yeast. Flavor is citrus, coriander, fruit, yeast, pepper, oranges, spices, wheat. Easy drinkable beer.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2018 on tap at Aro st. grainy aroma. looks a bit clear, minimal head. Flavour is just bitter and grainy, the only thing saison about this is the almost- hidden Belgian yeast character. Could almost be an imperial pils if not for that. Tastes rushed. Poor effort

Bottle enjoyed at home
Golden, some haze, huge white head. Smell of spices, cardemomme, flour, clove, fruity esters and hints of phenols, also light malts, pear and melon. Light sweet, spicy and fruity, nice complexity, alot of layers. Bone dry, moderate finish, grassy tail

Keg @ Örebro Ölcafe. Hazy bright golden, mid-size long lasting head, good lacing. Fruity and funky aroma, barnyard, cheese, hay, peach and mango. Fizzy carbonated, rounded and smooth mouthfeel. Nice blend of funk and fruit in the taste, red apples, apricot, peach, hay, barnyard and black pepper. Dry finish. Real nice!

True(ish) to style rather than genre-bending. Traditional with a little quirkiness. Comes together nicely without standing out. Subtle.

650ml bottle. Pours pale with a nice head that’s gone pretty quickly. Aroma is saison yeast, lemon, a little pepperiness. Flavour is pretty similar. It’s nicely spiced, with some citrus, herbal notes and the spice all coming together well. It’s a little too yeasty though.

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2017 0,65L bottle bought at the Bottle Shop Hong Kong. Appearance: Very bright and elegant golden colour with medium champagne-like bubbly white head. Very rich in carbonation. Aroma: Notes of spice, white pepper, honey, citrus, lemon zest and herbs, with yeast, earthy, grassy and subtle spring flowers aroma. Taste: Medium lemon and zesty tartness with some light herbal and citric bitterness. Also has some pilsner and biscuit malt flavour. Palate: Light to medium body with crisp, tart and spicy finish. Herbal, yeasty and malty aftertaste with bubbly texture. Overall: A very refreshing saison with additional ingredients like white pepper, herbs, spice and citrus that have made it untraditional saison. Yet, these unusual ingredients have made it a drinkable and evolving spiced saison. Also like the cute little drawing on the bottle.
