COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This crisp, dry Irish-style stout is typical of those made in England and Ireland. Ours contains hints of chocolate and coffee as a result of the fermentation process.

Sample at the Brew Pub. Pitch black with no head. Nose is light roasted malt. Taste is normal for the style. Hints of chocolate, notes of coffee, bitter chocolate finish. Thin body that the style represents. Close to any other Dry stout.

On tap at brewpub. Pours dark brown with a decent head. This is a passable stout and makes for a good session beer due to the low abv though nothing outstanding here.

Ok guys and gals, we all know its a dry stout. Its black, smooth, dry, and sometimes hard to get at the Ale House (inappropriate joke goes here). This stout can compete with any other Irish style stout in America, err, Worldwide! It is powered by CO2, not N2, however. Once I got lucky and stumbled across an experimental N2 stout at the Ale House. Its a good monday, tuesday, or wednesday beer, when the work week still has its demands on us (4% ABV). Overall, its a great stout, but what is with the name, Naked? I am phoning the HR department over this one right now.

A hazed brown stout with a thin moka head.A peaty beany aroma, light coffee, a bit off. In mouth, a nice smoked stout with light bodied. Medium bodied. On tap at VT Brewers Fest, July 17 2010.

Verre de dgustation, provenant dun ft, au Vermont Brewers Festival 2010 (Burlington, VT). Arme: Odeur de caf avec une pointe chocolate. Apparence: La couleur est noire opaque. Prsence dun mince col beige mousseux et dune fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Got de caf et de chocolat avec une pointe fume. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture lgrement onctueuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Lgre prsence de caf en arrire got. (Rating #3142)

Dark brown color where no light shines through. Very nice head and lace left on the glass. Strong coffee ground aroma--no sweetness. The body is thin. After a mild start, a heavily roasted malt flavor shows up in the swallow--lots of black patent malt. A very dry stout and bitter from the burnt elements.

Sampled at NH Brewfest, 10/03/09, Pours black with a creamy beige head. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malt. Palate is thin and dry, not my personal favorite, but true to the style. Flavor is roasted malt with chocolate with a little bit of smoke and wood.

My Bottom Line:
Roastiness galore delivers flavor and bitterness atop the faint caramel sweetness of this very flavorful low gravity Dry Stout.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the brown-tinged black.
-The grain bill mostly yields roast and caramel flavors, and perhaps coffee.
-Hops arent too apparent.
-Fruity esters hang on to the caramel.
-The body is quite generous for the style and the abv.

Cask Stillage at the GBBF Bar Sans Frontiers Earls Court, London 08/08/2007 Fruit and roast aromas. Black and smooth on the palate with some dryness in a crisp full coffee roast finish.
