Hazy amber color. Light wood aroma, caramel, very light smoke. It has a dryish caramel flavor, with late sugars, and light smoke flavor. Final with some warming alcohol too. Peculiar, but pleasant.
Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear amber/brown - white head. Smokey, peated, roasted, ryebread, ashtray, dryness, chocolate, very nice smokey taste - almost no smoke in the aroma. Ungstrup (38934) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 10, 2010
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, dusty hops, over ripe fruits, and mold. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, malt, caramel, straw, and herbs, leading to a dry herbal, and smokey finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
