Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy dark amber with a small off-white head. Lovely aroma of caramel, nuts and overripe fruit - everything good about an English style Barley Wine. Rich body, caramel and nuts and a great oxidized note. Some warming alcohol. Super delicious. 301012 jaghana (6220) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - OCT 24, 2012

The aroma, although still nice, shows some esters, some very light chemicals. The alcohol perception seems to grow, as well as a very light vegetables note. Maybe not very fair to drink it after a De Molen masterpiece, but anyway this powerful brew seems to keep its strength but not the whole of its qualities.

Hazy dark amber color with medium head. Nice and rich malt and caramel, some butterscotch. Full bodied, with very good malt and caramel flavor, strong bitterness, providing a fruity touch too; traces of liquorice.
Excellent Barley Wine.
