La Belle est une ale blonde aux reflets roux, coiffée d’une onctueuse mousse blanche. La corpulence modérée avec un houblonnage aromatique honorable en fait une bière aussi savoureuse que désaltérante. Etre en goguette est cette légère ivresse quand les sens sont émoustillés et parés pour une nuit de fête. La Belle en Goguette s’inspire des Pale Ales britanniques par la méthode de fabrication utilisée, sa couleur cuivrée provenant de la composition de malts légèrement rôtis et un houblonnage aromatique généreux. Ce déséquilibre recherché donne tout le caractère à cette bière avec un long développement du houblon en fin de bouche.

Bottle @ Kings Day Tasting 2014 shared with Dutchdrebus. 5.6% ABV says bottle label. Murky yellowiah color, full sized frothy white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is quite fruity and floral, hints of peach. Taste lightly malts, quite floral, quite fruity and decently bitter. A bit dry in the finish, decent body and carbonation.

Bottle @ KDT14 @ benzai, 5.6% abv. Hazy/murky yellow with a medium to large sized white head. Smells some banana, malts, Belgian yeast, herbs, peach. Tastes herbs, floral, malts, fresh, slightly grassy and slightly hoppy. Medium body, nice carbo.

Medium white head. Hazy amber body. Light mealy orangey resiny aroma. Dry-sweet orangey toffee and candy taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish sugary orangey mealy aftertaste with spicy wooden strawy notes. Nice, drinkable, mellow. (0.33l bottle, from Couleurs de Bieres, Montpellier. Bottle stated ABV 5.8%.)

Misty golden orange body. Nice balanced yet modern blond, with light hoppy grassy aroma and caramel malts. Smooth carbonation, not as expressive as the new lower alcohol version and less bitterness. Still a good drinkable brew. (33cl bottle from Au Nom De La Bière)
