L’équilibre est le caractère de cette bière qui souhaite flatter les papilles les plus délicates avec des saveurs rondes de caramel et une très légère pointe torréfiée en fin. La Saison des Amours a été créée au printemps mais la recette est brassée toute l’année.

Bottle 33cl kindly shared by Dominique. A clear amber beer with medium head. Nose is low on caramel. Aroma is on caramel and almond, watery body, cereal touch, kind of buckwheat notes at the finish. Not bad but very watery.

Small offwhite head. Clear dark brown body. Syrupy caramelly aroma with spicy earthy notes. Sweet earthy nutty taste with spicy chocolatey notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish fruity earthy aftertaste with spicy wooden notes. It’s OK, but too earthy and musty. (0.25l draft at Couleurs de Bieres, Montpellier.)

33cl Bottle via Erickok, thanks Eric! ABV 4.8%. Dark brown colour, light-beige head. Aroma is quite sweet, cocoa, some dark fruits, sweet nuts. Flavour is medium-sweet, light malty, cocoa, nuts, dust, light fruity, dusty cocoa finish with some grainy notes. Light-bodied, watery mouthfeel. Didn’t really like this.

Amber bodied with medium, stable light tan head. Light aroma of fresh yeast, dark (but not burned) malts, humous and figs. Simple. Taste had moderate and pleasant bitterness with light dark sugar like sweetness at first. Nice drinkable amber, dry and refreshing yet full enough. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)
