Clear brown color, fluffy off-white head. Sweet, hoppy, citrus scent. Malty, bitter, hoppy, citrus taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness,
On tap at Moeder Lambic Original. Seems from other reviews there are varying different strenghts and maybe even recipes for this beer. My version was definitely 7.5%, coppery brown with a thin head. I actually thought it quite hoppy for a Belgian-style, with some piney IPAess, and a creamy maltiness. Something else slightly unusual about it, not sure what. Interesting and tasty enough, but not sure it all came together perfectly.

Alex, mine is 7° only !
Bottle 33cl, a dark amber beer with good creamy head. Nose is powerful on aromatic hops, honey, exotic fruits, coconut. Aroma is on caramel, sweet, again coconut, honey, resin, caramel sweets, vanilla, well done beer, finish is on orange and caramel.

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 16 July 2012. 7.5%?) Reddish brown colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of caramel, orange peel and citrussy hops. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, roasted malt, blood oranges, hints of ginger biscuits and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty, quite complex and very well balanced. Very nice beer.
