Reconqvista (339) - Madrid, SPAIN - MAR 28, 2015
Deep back color with a nice brown lasting head. Aromas include caramel, toasted malt, chocolate and some alcohol. Flavor is sweet with some liquorice guiding to short bitterness end. Dry and nice.

larsga (7542) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 11, 2014
Big darkish brown head. Opaque black body. Roasty toffee and wild berry aroma with chewing gum notes. Dry roasty chocolatey taste with blueberry notes. Mid-bodied, maybe a little on the thin side. Flat, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish roasty chewing gum and dark chocolate aftertaste with mineraly sooty notes. It’s nice. A bit odd, but nice. (0.33l bottle, from a shop in Montpellier, France.)

3.9
erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - FEB 6, 2013
Deep brown body and bubbly brown head. Sweet hot chocolate, chilli, raisin, figs, sweaty and dry cacao. Taste is sweaty yeast, bit dry, chocolate cake. Well developed, flavourful brew. Obviously richer and thicker than the 3.9% alcohol version and at 6.6% this is quite rich. Bit sticky, bit warming. Nothing too extreme but very well made. Very tasty and a bit underrated I think. (33cl bottle from Bière Révolution)

faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - DEC 5, 2012
Botella. Black colour. Roasty sweet aroma with chocolate. Flavour is sweet and roasty with chocolate and dark fruit. Pleasant.

kermis (13482) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 15, 2012
Bottle shared with Deanso. After a terrible gush over my dinner it poured a rather nice, but too small black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and a little whiskey. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Nice enough, but what’s the point in a beer that you can’t drink because most of it ends up on the floor.. Low overall rating for the extreme gush

deanso (10141) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - NOV 15, 2012
33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Super gusher :-( I’m marking it down for that. Not much left to taste. Ok, tan head. Clear black pour. Lovely rich taste. Pity about the bad gushing

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, roasted malt, chocolate, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, chocolate, roasted malt, and alcohol, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks yespr for sharing .
