On tap at Townhouse Brewery and Pub. Pours a clear gold with an amber hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has lots of earthy citrus with a bit of grapefruit and a light grain backbone. Flavor has earthy citrus with a light grain backbone and a touch of resin. Jaune avec une petite mousse blanche. L’arôme un peu floral avec les agrumes. Le goût est similaire avec un amertume moyenne. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 3, 2013
Bottle courtesy of gethinbeer. Deep hazy copper colour with a thick, fluffy/sticky white head. Notable yeasty chunks in it. The nose is softly sweet with a touch of caramel and lightly toasted malt. Grapefruit and citrus wi some ligtly candied notes in the back. Assertively hopped with a nice sticky resinousness and a touch of minerally flavour. Decent. Bottle, thanks again Colin and Kendra and family and friends. Hazy dark orange with a big frothy white head and an unhealthy looking amount of sediment/floaties. Yikes. Nice fruity hop aroma - lots of similar house characteristics to the one hop beers from them I have had tonight. Taste - good hop presence but also a big caramel sweetness that does not mix awesomely with the hops. Foamy body hold it all together well enough. Not bad really, just do not like when that overly sweet edge pops its head up now and then. A good beer, but way too similar to the one-hop beers I have had tonight from them - time to slow down the one-offs Garrison and mix it up a bit I think.

500ml bottle. Creamy amber colour, very unfiltered, some floaties, moderate head. Aroma is mostly malty, biscuit, bread, sourdough. Very little hops in the aroma, but lots in the taste. Earthy, piney, a little sour. Medium body. Not bad, but I see why this was an accident. Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 27, 2013
Slightly hazy orange-ish colour. hoppy citrus aroma, has a resinous quality a caramel note and some barley or something earthy. IPA flavours, and made in a resinous style, has a caramel sweetness and a bit of a grainy quality that I cant place. Theyve made worse! Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAR 23, 2013
Clear copper pour with a large frothy white head and clinging lace. Typical Garrison characteristics in the aroma and taste. Oily texture. Seems rather sweet. Honey and hops mixed together. Not as hoppy as the label suggests. Lacking but a decent brew. Atheist_Peace (981) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAR 8, 2013
500ml bottle. Pours a hazy burnt orange with tan head that recedes quickly and leaves a ring of lace. Dense orange marmalade dominates the nose with something I’ll call sour caramel backing it up. Still heavily marmalade on the palate but not quite as dense. The caramel still has this weird slightly metallic sour aspect that isn’t really pleasant. Not altogether great but I suppose one could make worse mistakes.
