500ml bottle, tasted during RBWG hotel tasting. Hazy amber brown color. Thin off-white head. Ropes and dots and bits of lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, sort of soft, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Dark chocolate, dark fruit, some oxidization. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation, mild slick finish. Decent porter, but seems like it’s past its prime. Kind of an acidic finish. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 24, 2009
Dark brown beer. Very strange aroma. Earthy and herbal with a bit of orange fruitiness amid the heavily toasted malt. Lots of caramel and toffee. Lightly toasty with a hint of licorice. This is quite strange, and not like any baltic porter I’ve ever had. Quite boozy. Meh. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 10, 2009
[2082-20090410] 500mL bottle. Overly sweet currant malt aroma with mild burnt caramel and a hint of bubblegum in the background. Clear, dark mahogany body with a quick creamy tan head. Wooden toasted malt flavour with lots of burnt grass and a long aftertaste. Medium-full body. Nice toasted, a little too much of it though.

pours dark brown with a small beige head, some retention. burnt caramel, molasses, lager dark fruitiness, spices, light coconut, raisins, caramelized and buttered nuts - not really diacetyls, roasted dry coffee - hint of acidity. soft carbonation, light to medium body - smooth and not too heavy, nor sweet, just enough grassiness in the finish. remarkable balance, never cloying and classic. definitely what i would hope for in... estonia or lithuania..! solidfunk (8951) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - MAY 1, 2012
Tastes of sweet malt - a little too sugary for me. Smells sweet too. No head retention, pours clear brown. A little roast but not much. Meh. Bottle to kill the hangover.

6/26/10. Sampled at the Tally Tasting 2010. Sweet and almost fruity. Lovely. The_Osprey (7984) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2015
Bottle share at Chriso’s. Many thanks! Cola dark brown, small foamy tan head. Aroma is soft malts, chocolate syrup. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is syrupy and toffee-ish up front, tangy fruits with a dry ashy finish, pretty bitter. Nice stuff. blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 24, 2009
My bottle [500ml] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o tupalev. Pours a dark, deep brown with an average size tan head. Mild aroma of lightly roasted malt, caramel, some alcohol and a hint of coffee. Flavour is different then expected but I like it: Roasty with slightly burnt caramel, light green hops, some dark fruit and some maple syrup. Medium to full bodied. Pretty good, perhaps not quite on style but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Radek Kliber (7359) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - APR 7, 2011
