Bottle, thanks Colin and Kendra! Medium yellow with a slight haze, small white bubbly head. Fruity, slightly tropical aroma - muted. More tropical fruit in taste - balances well with light malt and is rather drinkable with a decent hop linger. Clean. Bit of a metallic edge to everything but only slightly. Hops are decently aggressive and there is a lot of flavour going on here. A nice surprise - I quite enjoyed it.

341ml brown bottle. Light haze, gold colour. A stable and creamy white cap on top with nice looking lacing. The nose has caramel malt up front, some lemon and orange peel. In the mouth the beer presents a caramel malt base with a blend of lemon orange and grapefruit hop flavours, maybe a touch of pineapple?. Nice bitter kick in the finish. Malts are to heavy and sweet to be a real session IPA, but a good beer that I could drink multiples of.

341ml bottle pours a golden colour with a finger of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus with some grains. Taste is a citrus hop bitterness with a light malty sweetness. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a decent brew for the style, but lacking in the fuller flavours of other session IPA’s

Got this from nslc whilst home for Canada day. thinking this was similar to other sessions I have had decided to go with a 6 pack. citrus is there but weaker, slight bitter but not enough, some caramel in there, medium carbonation, flat finish. overall I was hoping for more.

Pours a perfect clear amber with medium white head. Aroma is of pine, honey, citrus, caramel and malts. Tastes of honey, malt, caramel, pine, and citrus. Has a light body with average carbonation. Very well balanced with a sweet finish.

Amber pour. The aroma is light spicy and a little bit peppery. Some nice orange and a touch of light spice and a light caramel. Solid malt profile for something so light. Has a little bit of caramel and a bit of pepper as well. There is a bit of moderate bitterness and a touch of fruit on the back.

Gold she pours and beauty be, a white head tops’er! White grapefruit and lemon, bright and clean, jingle about with subtle piney and even subtler dank notes. Smooth clover honey, white bread and snappy cereal balance the hop-terage. This is so smooth drinkin’, it really wears the moniker of "session’ remarkably well. With carbonation and body both on the medium-light side and the bitterness tightly regimented, this is one beer that could withstand any moment a gruelingly muggy Summer could swarm it with.

Pretty clear gold with solid little head cap. Nice looking. Aroma is a bit fruity, with an amount of sweet malt. Taste is pretty boring; not much going on with any hops. More like a typical golden ale, just a little crisper. Not very interesting.

UXO (1896) - CANADA - APR 11, 2015
Pours clear pale gold with one finger of pillowy white head, excellent retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Nose is light citrus, grassy, pale malt. (6/10) Taste is moderate sweet, mild bitter. (6/10) Medium to light body, lively carbonation, off-dry crisp finish. (3/5) Yet another “session IPA,” but not a particularly good implementation. In particular, the malt is coming across as almost corn adjunct. Fairly sweet, and not particularly bright or hoppy. (12/20)

Clear golden pour with a thin white lace. Aroma of malt and fresh citrus hop. I got more of a malt backbone than the citrus hops but still a refreshing flavour. Quite sweet with a syrup like finish. The beer doesn’t seem to have a soul but will quench the thirst,
