COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This classic beer style was inspired by centuries of Celtic brewing history. Specialty roasted malts such as crystal and carastan dominate Irish Red Ale resulting in a ruby red colour and smooth malty taste.

chinchill (4605) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 5, 2016
Bottle purchased at the brewery in Halifax and consumed the same day. Pours a surprisingly reddish red-brown with a decent head and lacing. Sweet aroma resembles a bakery. The flavor is more average but still nicely malty and well above average. Good, lively carbonation for the medium bodied ale.

341ml bottle. Pours a clear red-brown with a small, fizzy, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of toasted malt, caramel and biscuit. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, biscuit and nuts with a dry, mildly bitter finish. Medium body with a watery texture and average carbonation.

Deep red colour not much head or lacing. Dried fruit aroma biscuity. Sweet malty taste a touch of cocoa. Overall pretty basic red ale. Not bad but not interesting either. Acceptable.
