On tap at Maxwell’s Plum (Halifax, NS). Pale gold body with good carbonation and a thin white foamy/bubbly head. Average malty/hoppy aroma with bready notes. Taste is rather thin and lacks complexity. Ends with a short bitter finish. Useless. omhper (24963) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 15, 2003
Bottled. Reddish brown. Mildly malty with a lot of caramel flavour. Straight forward. jgb9348 (6189) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - SEP 20, 2003
Clear golden colour, very thin tan head. Malty aroma with a few hops thrown in. Medium to Light-bodied; Subtle malt & hop flavour, not much going on ...fairly subtle. Overall, a decent beer, not great for the style, but nice to try! I sampled this beer at Joey_Capps' on 13-September-2003 in Hamilton, Ontario. mrkimchee (1414) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 19, 2003

Crystal clear golden colour, not much head. Fairly fruity, without a bit of bitterness but not a lot. Slight caramel aroma. OKBeer (1171) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAR 23, 2003
UPDATED: JUL 7, 2004 Copper colour, quite cloudy, with lots of foamy head. Reminds me of a german wheat. Aroma has spice and caramel/butterscotch. Flavour has the same spice and caramel, with a bit of sourness. A little too fizzy and thin for my liking. (2.5)joeycapps (1468) - Waterdown, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 26, 2002
RE-RATE: First batch must have been a bit off. Copper colour, no cloudiness this time. A bit of caramel aroma, plus a light fruitiness. Fruity and bitter flavours. Very Bass-like pale ale.
Pale copper colour. Malty nose. Thin-medium body. Subtle maltiness w/ peppery, earthy finish.

Lightish body, but good, subtle flavour development makes this a fine session ale.
