Orange, and yeast aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, carbonation right there. Lacey with a little head on orange coloured body. Some decent hoppiness, drying. Thanks Peeno. jercraigs (11071) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 22, 2012
2012-01-19. Hazy orange body, small beige head. 3+ Flavour is interesting, relatively bitter with a different sort of hop character, sort of green and leafy hops mixes with dry alcohol and Belgian yeast character. 7+ Aroma is mild, dry alcohol, pale malt, dry hops. Average plus bodied palate. Lingering dry hops have sort of a floral grassy character that lingers long into the aftertaste. Sort of like a hoppy tripel? Pretty decent. Bottle via trade with Phirleh

Deep orange pour with a bit of a white head. There is a little bit of orange peel and some spicy hop character. A little bit of soft sweetness with a touch of fruit and a little bit of soft spice. A touch of fruit and some pepper as well. Moderate bitterness but it’s okay. mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 1, 2012
[4258-20120120] 500mL bottle. Lime zest cleaner fluid hops aroma. Hazy, orange body with a quick foamy off-white head and some lacing. Sweet strong spruce hops flavour has a lot of bitter tree sap and lemon pips. Medium body is quite bitter. Tasty but overpowering with hoppy sap. (8-/3+/7/3/14) 3.5

Aroma: fruity funk, citrus, orange peel, malt, some sugary dust. End of ripe fruit with hints of alcohol.
Appearance: hazed amber with mid white top.3-
Palate / Taste: medium bodied with thinner walls. Good blend of Belgian yeast with dry hop. Citrus with dry alcohol ending. Drinkable offering.
500 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits (Halifax). Pours a cloudy dark golden orange with moderate-sized slightly off-white head and good lacing. Aroma leans more to the Belgian side to my nose with fruity esters, a touch of coriander but also some citric hops. Taste is nicely balanced between fruity yeastiness and mostly citric hoppiness with a little pine in there too. Moderate bitterness in finish. I found this one both interesting and quite enjoyable. Bottle from the brewery, courtesy of my brother-in-law in Halifax. Hazy amber with a large just-off-white head. Aroma is quite fruity to start - tropical notes of pineapple and papaya - with some spicy/herbal tones, and nice citrus hop character. Medium bodied with a perfect level of carbonation. Flavour has a great balance of the Belgian and IPA elements - lots of fruity and spicy notes up front, some dry and peppery yeast in the middle, and big grapefruit and orange zest hops in the finish. Both of these breweries produce some of my favourite hoppy beers in the country, so I was expecting a lot from this beer, and it came through with flying colours. Big thanks to chris for bringing this one back for us. pours a nice foamy head, a light bitterness and you can taste the yeast to this one, bit of spice in there, maybe some nutmeg and solid brew Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 9, 2011
Bottle, thank you again Colin and Kendra! Beautiful medium hazy yellow with a small white head. Awesome aroma - perfume, yeasty, dusty hoppy, lemon - perfect. Taste - lots of orange peel and lemon zest up front, gives way to a very fruity yet bitter linger. Very dry in finish, more fruity and full flavoured in middle. Alcohol compliments. Man, this mash up nailed it, I love a great Belgian IPA when it comes together properly and this one has done it! Just about perfection for my tastes these days, well done everyone involved. rejtable (2886) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 9, 2011
Was expecting more from this one. Or really wanted more from this one. I got almost nothing from the beligian side of this combo. Tasted like a bit more carbonated version of their IIPA to me.
