Crisp and lightly malted, this Golden Wheat Ale is distinguished by its natural raspberry flavour. A one of a kind taste unlike most traditional beers, this unique and refreshing brew is only available during the summer.

bulldogops (2490) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 27, 2017
Rating #2368 - 2016.03.09 - Bottle from Mix6 @beerblast. Pours a deep pinkish with a bubbly white head. Aroma is strong raspberry jam. Taste is light bubbly lager and more jam. Finish is tart, but not unpleasant. Fruit dominates the palate a touch too much for my taste. Not my jam.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear light yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a sweet raspberry note with a lot of earthy wheat supporting. Flavor has a combination of earthy wheat and sweet raspberry.

341ml bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with a medium, long lasting, off-white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of raspberry and light wheat malt. Sweet flavour of raspberry and wheat with a crisp, slightly tart, dry finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation.

3.1
Metalchopz (3384) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 12, 2015
6-pack from the NSLC in Halifax. Pours a clean golden colour with a very slight pink hue haze. Raspberry juice aromas over light grain. The raspberry fruit is milder in the taste, showing more the cereal graininess in the finish. Refreshing, grainy and decent fruitiness for this average Raspberry Wheat brew.

cards04 (2793) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 6, 2015
Another bland and boring fruit based beer. Pours a pale yellow. Faint aromas and flavours of raspberries...mostly watery with some wheat flavours. Boring.

dreamflower (790) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - FEB 21, 2015
Bottle shared with northropfrye. Golden peach colour, quite pretty. The raspberry hits right away. Finishes floral. It tastes more like it than it smells, which is very different.

Light orange body, white frothy head, not much retention. Initial tangy whiff of raspberry that quickly fades. Taste is malty with a touch of sweet raspberry, and a watery finish. Not such an interesting beer, but I actually don’t mind this one.
