This is the best Amber Ale I have ever tasted. Think of Fat Tire on Steroids - it is fantastic! Poobah (470) - New Orleans, Louisiana, USA - JUL 23, 2017
Amber with a thin head and some lacing. Bready nose with some fruit. Malty with medium carbonation and finishing dry, bitter, and with some dark fruit. jw0406 (1305) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 8, 2017
12 oz can pours an amber color with a small white head. Aromas of sweet malt, caramel, light hops. Medium bodied, nicely done.

Pours a clear copper on tap with fluffy off-white head that dissipates slowly to leave moderate lace. Aroma of mild caramel and nutty bread malts with earthy and fruity undertones. Taste is more toward the malt, but a nice hoppy bitterness that balances it out and keeps it from being too sweet. Very nicely done for the style. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - APR 25, 2017
Poured from the tap into a 20 OZ mug at the Taco Mac in Atlanta. The appearance is a slightly cloudy amber color with a small white head. The aroma is earthy hops. The taste is similar to the nose. a nice beer from a relatively new brewer.

At BHB depot fest, pretty solid Amber. Balance between malty and bitter, nutty flavor. About right. drowland (9080) - Georgia, USA - MAR 24, 2016
3/24/16. On tap at Craft on Draft. Brown pour with a nice khaki head, good lacing. Okay aroma, malt forward, lightly nutty, hints of chocolate, biscuit, doughy, light floral and earthy hop aspect. Good flavor, malty, biscuit, caramel, light toffee, nutty, doughy. Surprised by this one - tasty! jrob21 (3812) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - OCT 19, 2015
Sample at Decatur Beer Fest. I’m going to blame this on the tap and not the beer. Dirty butter flavors permeating throughout. A little caramel sweetness. A little nuttiness. Hop bitterness on the finish. After you get past the funky butter flavors. chinchill (5321) - South Carolina, USA - OCT 18, 2015
This presumably unfiltered ale has a hazy deep Amber body topped by a very good bone colored head.
Hoppy aroma for style, but the flavor is clearly malt dominated. The hops show here aging some fine spicy and faint herbal notes, as well as keeping the balance between sweet and bitter about even.
