Den blonde is een zoetig speciaalbier met een hopbitter, fruitig aroma. Het vloeit uit in de mond, en heeft een bittere nasmaak.

Overcarbonated pale blond, gusher, notes of yeast and grains, wheat. Poor beer, sweet yeasty finish

Blond session beer, in its original form, i.e. brewed by the former owner of the Gaverhopke brewery, when it was still very low profile (I had to drive there by car to get my hands on their beers). Thin, loose, off-white, unstable head, peach blonde colour, cloudy. Fruity and estery aroma, pear, apricot, straw, yeast, cardboard and H2S (rotten egg)... Fruity taste, light maltiness, sweetish with insufficiently low hoppiness for balance, caramelly finish. Too sweet, infected and unbalanced, as litterally all the other beers I bought that day. Gaverhopke has clearly improved a lot in the hands of the new owners.

een lekker blond bier met een goede volle smaak. Een aanrader om eens te drinken. Ik ben fan

Bottle at Bier Central. Bold orange body with slight head. Sweet and corny nose. Taste is fruits, oranges and orange peel. Citrus and slightly bitter finish. Creamy texture.

Hazy gold amber beer with some sediment bits! Suddy white head. Caraway nutty malt and a little orange on the nose. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Creamy malt, sherbet orange with a definite zing and a dash of lemon. The malt is a little saison like. Finishes semi dry. Tasty little beer that slips down easy.

33cl, no BB date. Dorée, claire devant trouble vers mi-bouteille, col blanc.

Pours a bright golden yellow color. Aromas of hops, fruit, and a little yeast. Has a light fruity taste, with some yeasty notes, and a good hop flavor.

Bottle 33cl. A fresh citrus and yeast touch in the nose and something medicinal (eucalyptus?). The first touch in the mouth makes me think of white wheat beer, the dry citrus is coming back. fresh. In the taster and aftertaste, I think of marzipan.

09/12/2010 - 33cl bottle @ home

Cloudy yellow to light orange beer, creamy white head, non stable, little adhesive. Aroma: fruity, grapes, green apples. MF: light carbon, light to medium body. Taste: green apple, tart. Aftertaste: tart and yeast. Probably infected.
