Whole Foods, Bowery 330ml ($5): Pours an orange colour with a white head that leaves a full lacing. Aroma is Belgian yeast, loads of it, candy, and some hops. This is way more Belgian ale than DIPA; however, the hops are nice and provide a nice aftertaste. It has a nice little flowery sweetness. Body is light and easy to drink.

bottle. Pale golden with two finger head. Lightly sweet body with moderate hops and rather strong bitterness. Some mild Belgian esters. I'm not sure what I'd classify this as. More interesting than good.

Rich amber/cider color; Medium body; Aroma of yeast, floral hops, spice, & some citrus; Flavor of sweet malt, yeast, floral hops, fruit/citrus, and spice; Finish is dry & slightly bitter; Nicely balanced; Tastes more like a Belgium tripel - but pretty decent.

Bottled. Pours slightly hazy golden with an average white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus notes and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up being dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and lively to average carbonation. A nice DIPA.

Sent to me by Strykzone. Thanks Dave. Pours a very cloudy gold with a robust white head. Moderate lacing. Nose is fruity and floral. The body is medium Flavor is again fruit and floral. Finishes with some light bitterness and a lot of floral notes. Somehow this is all over the place but drinks reasonably well.

Pear and lemon zest nose, not strong. Cloudy amber, thick head, good lace. Yeast, lemon peel, pear. Medium body, soft carbonation.

F: huge, light off-white, long lasting. C: deep gold, hazy. A: malty, peach, yeasty, floral, spicy, candy sugar, herbal. T: malt, fruity, very dry on the palate, light earthy, peach, yeast, spicy, medium body, medium carbonation, this in my opinion is not IIPA but more like BSA, nothing really special, 33cl bottle from Spar supermarket in Oostende.

330 ml bottle. Pours, with some sediment, cloudy brown with a large off-white head. Good retention and plenty of soapy lacing. Aroma: Dark fruits and fruitcake (not DIPA!). Flavor: Dark fruits, roasted nuts and fruitcake with light hops - certainly not DIPA or even a pale ale. Tasty, nonetheless.

Hazy golden. White head. Aroma is yeasty and belgian. Palate is flat, just faint cascade.

gyllenbock (10027) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 1, 2016
Bottle from Bier Tempel, Brussels. Hazy golden/orange with a white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit and caramel. Similar taste. The body was around medium and the finish was quite bitter. A decent one.
