What can I say, this is an amazing beer! Poured from 330ml bottle a deep golden blonde ale with plenty of sediment when holding up to a light. A small white head that disappears quickly. Aroma of lemon zest, vanilla and banana. Flavor is very smoothe and full bodied at first than expresses a semi-sour finish. Palate is left with much vanilla and citrus. One of the best beers I have tried so far! lachrymalisis (441) - Washington, USA - JUN 24, 2012
big flavors of tart white grape, slightly sweet residual malts, fruity citrus and a surprisingly dry finish for such a high gravity beer. nice crisp and tart with a mellow lingering sweetness that tastes of delicious white wine and grape juice. superspak (5591) - Michigan, USA - MAR 14, 2015
330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 12/2014. Highly carbonated gusher upon opening. Pours murky bright orange color with a 3 finger fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, lime, orange peel, pear, apple, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, candi sugar, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and light pale malt notes; with good strength. Very bright aromas. Taste of big lemon, lime, orange peel, pear, apple, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, candi sugar, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, lime, orange peel, pear, apple, pepper, candi sugar, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nicely dry finish. Damn nice complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and light pale malt flavors; with a great crisp malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and foamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Belgian strong pale ale. All around great complexity and balance of bright fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and light pale malt flavors; and extremely smooth and crisp to sip on for the high ABV. With the combination of the difficult over carbonated pour and murky appearance, I was expecting this to taste old and malty; but it tasted spot on. A very enjoyable offering. UPDATED: DEC 11, 2016 Levendig donkergeel bier met veel stevig schuim. Smaak is zoet en kruidig, ietwat fruitig, abrikoos en kandij. Erg goed. fredandboboflo (1570) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 22, 2009
Bottle. Aroma of graham cracker and Italian bread malt with some sour lemon notes, or maybe apricot, bordering on yogurty and barnyardy. Flavor the same, great malty, grainy complexity with those distinctly funky, yeasty notes and continuing sour fruitiness. Quite dry. Lovely.

Hazy golden orange beer with nice off white head. Soft fruity aroma with a nice zesty twang, some cereals, bread, spices and hops. Taste round with some heat, spices, bread, malts and some nice bitters in the end.

Orange to gold color, with a thick creamy head. Aroma is very fruity; apricots, banana and citrus are present. Also spice and hops. Very smooth mouthfeel, with a tickling carbonation. Spicey, fruity taste, with a medium body and slick texture. Alcohol is very well hidden.
Personal opinion: One of the best, most surprising beers until now. AdamChandler (5051) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Pours a hazy golden orange. 1 finger head. Nose of tart raspberries, clover and honey Taste is very much "wit" tasting, wheat, crispy and orange. Dry finish that’s tart and sweet. ABV is very well hidden! RblWthACoz (964) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - APR 15, 2009
A.K.A. Singing Blond.
Pours a fogged in orange gold with a thin creme head. Mild sour nose. Fruit is also there. At first when I poured it I wanted to say it was apricots. But alas we have moved on to minor funk. Flavor is superb. Smooth. Mature fruit tones and sweetness. A slightly firm acidity barely appears. Minor funky. It’s all mixed and mashed together beautifully though and seems to go funky on my mouth one time and then fruity the next. Just clings to the next bit of character and you get a real smooth ride of flavor. Feel has a carbonation that bites too much at the tongue, but it isn’t enough to interfere with the flavor. Damn. This is good. I mean, really good. LilBeerDoctor (3930) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 22, 2009
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2009 Bottle (labeled "Singing blonde"). Pours a cloudy light golden color with a small white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, peppery spices, and yeast. Flavor is bready/yeasty upfront with spices and a sweet finish. Pretty good BSA, very enjoyable.
