A.K.A. Singing Blond. Pours a fogged in orange gold with a thin creme head. Mild sour nose. Fruit is also there. At first when I poured it I wanted to say it was apricots. But alas we have moved on to minor funk. Flavor is superb. Smooth. Mature fruit tones and sweetness. A slightly firm acidity barely appears. Minor funky. It’s all mixed and mashed together beautifully though and seems to go funky on my mouth one time and then fruity the next. Just clings to the next bit of character and you get a real smooth ride of flavor. Feel has a carbonation that bites too much at the tongue, but it isn’t enough to interfere with the flavor. Damn. This is good. I mean, really good.

F: huge, off-white, average retention. C: deep gold, hazy. A: malt, orange peels, spicy, toasty, honey, yeast. T: malt, peach, mellow fruity, hint of gin-alcohol, flower, quite sweet, white sugar, medium to full body, medium carbonation, there is nothing bad, good, enjoyed, there are good and bad rates may be infected and not infected bottles :) 33cl bottle from Spar supermarket in Oostende.

Bottle sampled at home massive thanks to Mrk. Murky golden brew with white head. Caramel, spinach, andives, and honeyfarts. Alcohol and sugar. Big sweet and light bitter. Soft carbonation, sticky sweet and mean and strange vegetal bitter.

Maakun (6766) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAR 7, 2017
Bottle shared thanks to Mrk. Hazy orange golden with some floaters. Peach, worst honey, massive alcohol, gin, wodka, vegetables, marzipan. Quite sweet with alcoholic bitterness. Full bodied. Not very good.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of pure yeast with a lot of bread and unfinished sugars noticeable here along with some light hops and a bit of wort. Medium to Full-bodied; Sweet flavour up front with some caster sugar, light hops, earth and pungent grassy flavours showing some bitterness and herbal elements as well. Aftertaste shows some lighter grain elements, some floral notes and a lot of unfinished sugars that come through along with the bitterness from the alcohol and funk. Overall, a decent at best beer that shows a lot of pungency, some very strong flavours with some unfinished sugar notes, some herbs and funk and a lot of alcohol pungency as well. I sampled this stubby 33 cL bottle puchased not in Belgium (luckily, I didn’t have to cart this tone back across the pond) but at New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 01-July-2016 for US$4,25 sampled at home in Washington on 24-September-2016.

The bottle was sent to me by Strykzone. Poured cloudy gold. White head. Nose of fruit and spice. Yeast too I think, Medium plus body and alcohol in the mouth feel. Flavor is rich and fruity, and the fruit carries over into the finish. Yeasty all the way to the last drop. Actually quite good and somehow different that a lot of Belgian Beers.

a fruity, sweet, alcoholic beer. fun for trying this beer, unique in its kind.

seynie (415) - Tienen, BELGIUM - JUL 24, 2016
Despite the heavy carbonation, no head to speak of. Dark gold otherwise. Alcohol, watery peach, malt, some yeast. Quite sweet in the finish, but still watery. Not very impressive

JPDIPSO (6298) - Wauwatosa, USA - JUL 10, 2016
Slight gusher. Hazed golden liquid with a tall fizzy head that diminishes rather slowly, relatively speaking. A nice flow of tiny bubbles continues. A siren type brew, at least from the label image. Heavy sweet fruity aromas with fermented berries, grapes and other light fruit. Some vinegar and sourness is in the mix as well. Some heavy alcohol notes. 6/10

Strykzone (7800) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAY 12, 2016
Pudgy little 12 ounce bottle. I rolled it and got some sediment loose but there was a lot more on the bottom of the bottle. Cloudy golden beer with active carbonation and chunks of that sediment. A noisy white head doesn’t last long. Lots of rich fruit in the aroma with some spice. That fruit is tasted. Peach and citrus with yeast. Alcohol is evident. The flavor is robust and it drinks like an alcoholic fruit drink.
