Pours cloudy copper with a large beige head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, alcohol and dark dried fruit. Flavour is caramel, toffee, heavy alcohol and dark dried fruit.
The best experience is the aroma, that seduce your nose a litte bit. Dissapointing with 9 % Brandman (2956) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 23, 2016
Dark brown body, white head. Aroma has raisins, banana, sweet sugary maltiness. Flavour is sweet and yeasty, grainy malty and filled with herbal fudge. DraftDodger (1621) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 23, 2016
Copenhagen 23/1 2016. 50 cl bottle from Irma. A lot of shields and other heraldic stuff to stress the point that this beer has been produced at a castle. Pours reddish warm brown with big off-white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam. Creamy lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma of sweet fermented fruit, caramel and a little acidic tartness. Soft carbonation and oily palate. Taste is sugary sweet. Alcohol, fermented fruit and slightly spicy. Too sweet and heavy to consume more than one. And you would not mind sharing it if you only had one. larsga (7604) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 12, 2015
Medium beige head. Hazy deep dark red body with carbonation. Earthy
fruity vinegary aroma with wooden spicy notes. Sweet fruity earthy
funky taste with floral herbal buttery notes. Mid-to-full-bodied.
Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish earthy funky barnyard aftertaste with
sugary wooden spicy notes. Weird. It’s like they accidentally hit
upon a very good infection for a far-too-sweet tripel. This is not
even remotely a tripel, and very unlikely to be what they intended to
brew, but it’s actually a pretty good beer. (0.5l bottle, from
somewhere in Copenhagen.) SashaRu (5) - - MAY 2, 2014 does not count
my friend braught me this from denmark and I totally enjoied this beer, especially the palate of tastes that gradually open up after a sip. trully belgic tripel style, dark, srrong but mild, not too sweet, not bitter.

Poured beautifully amber with a nice foam that stayed. Hides the high alcohol percentage very well.

50 cl bottle (8,2%), BBE 15.02.2013. Thanks Timo A!lusikka (7819) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 14, 2013
Beer exploded out of the bottle after opening, lots and lots of foaming.
Aroma is rather offensive with sourish berries, hay and nutty notes. Flavour has nettles, gooseberry bush, berries typical to Danish ales, nuts and some tart woody notes. What is this shit? Not an Abbey Tripel anyway.
500 ml bottle. Thanks a lot Timo A.olio (10431) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 14, 2013
Pours a dirty amber colour with a white head. Aroma of strong repulsive glue, caramel and paper. Flavour of caramel, metals, wet paper and bitterness. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and a sweet, buttery, papery finish. Repulsive.
50 cl bottle, 8.2%. Thanks a lot Timo A!
Pours particle-rich amber color with a huge head, a strong gusher. Aroma of spices, citrus fruits, yeast, goose berry bush, some herbal notes and mild toffee. Flavor of toffee, ripe fruits, yeast and spices. Strong CO2, sourish palate.
