Light brown with a hint of red. Huge head, slowly shrinking. Fresh smell. Hoppy and flowery, well balanced nitterness. A hint of sugar, but not disturbing. A nice, very drinkable beer. Nothing fancy.
Bottle. 5.8%. Best before 11.02.17. Pours a hazy, deep amber/brown, with a tan head. Good lacing. Sweet, (dark) fruity aroma on a malty background. Sugary hint as it warms, and a bit of hops as well, light grassy. Flavour is sweetish, with dark fruits and malt. Hops in the background, popping out as it warms. Further warming brings out hints of raisin. Bitter, somewhat grainy finish with a liquorice touch. Lingering light citrusy, floral and grassy notes. Overall okay, but could do without the grainy note. Not really sure if this is an English Pale Ale either; more like an English Strong Ale if anything. 08.02.17. Bottle. It pours hazy amber with a medium off white head. The aroma is earthy hoppy with malty notes. Diacetyl. Light flowery. Some flowery hoppy notes in the flavor. Diacetyl and caramel. Milter (905) - Nyborg, DENMARK - JUL 28, 2016
God og spændene engelsk pale ale. God smag, med masser af humle. Tilpas med bitterhed. DraftDodger (1454) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 19, 2015
Copenhagen 19/12 2015. 50 cl bottle from Irma. Some sort of registration error on RateBeer as this beer holds 5,7 % - not 6,2%. Pours hazy orange brown with off-white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma of sweet fruit - mostly peach with some notes of fermentation and alcohol. Soft carbonation and slightly oily palate. Taste follows the nose with sweet fruit and a little booziness. Medium bitterness in the aftertaste. It might originate from a brewery on a castle - but that does not make it particulary interesting. A bit unbalanced to the sweet side. TorbenJensen (1517) - Valby, DENMARK - OCT 1, 2015
Excellent nice foam that are close, almost creamy and fairly persistent. Good aroma of hops, citrus fruit and other light fruit. It also has the easy fruit tones in taste, but at the finals it becomes more hoppy than what is normally expected for the type. The approaching strongly an English IPA where the hop bitterness often is more "clean and tamed" than American IPA’s is. I think the type of accuracy is affected slightly awry in this pale ale, but I must admit that the aroma, flavor, fullness and wholeness is certainly in order. Had it been sold as a British IPA I could probably have found some more points up in the attic, but a pale ale with these flavors are unfortunately missed the mark and missing type correctness traps it. Unfortunately.

Jenner707 (82) - DENMARK - JUL 19, 2015
Nice red brown color with beige foam. And nice hop aroma with a good bitter finish -not too bitter, as so many other dark pale ales. The fuzz is a good match for the taste and aroma as well. Cunningham (7860) - Halden, NORWAY - APR 5, 2015
Lovely looking ale. A bit hazy amber color with a fine off white head. Nice lacing also. Hmmm then…. The aroma is very rich dried fruits. It feels like there is some yeast also. Medium + body. Slightly sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation. Herbal, caramel and wee heavy dried fruity flavor. Ehhh it reminded me of an homebrew we made that turned really wrong. Impossible to drink all of it. Kitchen sink.Franzen (590) - SWEDEN - OCT 25, 2014

Interesting fruity and spicy aroma, some cardemom, pickled fruits, apricots and apples. Malty taste with hints of orange, spicy bitterness well in balance with the malt. Very nice autumy english pale ale SlackerMads (3360) - DENMARK - JAN 27, 2014
Bottle. Unclear orange/light brown with a medium sized diminishing bubbly beige head. Grain, caramel, muddled hops, flowery, herbal, metallic. Medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation, light/medium sweet and bitter. Reminds of not impressive homebrew.
