UPDATED: JUL 23, 2013 Bottle from Tigros Supermarket.

Bottle in Nantes. Yellow orange color. Medium to full body and medium carbonation. No taste, like a strong lager.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2014 33cl bottle, 7.2%, 0.70€. Yellow beer with a fine white head quickly reducing to a decent lace, some particles. Almost oderless. Moderate sweet malts, lots of grains, salt, alcohol and some grassy hops. Sweet tastw and moderate bitterness bite in the short finish. Texture tend to be oily, medium body, average carbonation. Straight forward to resembre a strong lager, nothing interesting.

Small bottle. Golden body, small head. Aroma has honey, light hops and some hints of alc. Taste starts sweet but seconds later the sharp booze starts to emerge. Booze bitterness becomes more apparent in the finish. Has just a bit more of sweet hops in it than the local Eastern-European samples of the style, but otherwise it’s pretty much the same.

Quack-Duck (9534) - Down South, GERMANY - JAN 6, 2013
bottle. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Pleasantly hoppy nose. Full-bodied, malty base with some rather aromatci grassy-resiny hops.

330 ml bottle. L14.4.08. BB 06/10/12. From bierzwerg.de.

Clear pale golden golden colour with small white head.
Malt and skunky hops in aroma. Some plastic too.
Flavour is... not good... bad.... eeeuuuhh...
Malt, alcohol and more stale malt. Very unpleasant.
Plastic, strong alcohol and stale malt. Hit material.

Aroma: Grassy, metallic, earthy, slightly citric aroma. Not appealing.

Mouthfeel: Sticky, lively, not very big.

Taste: Neutral to sweet, honeyish, a bit metallic. Alcohol is well hidden. A little peppery (from the hops?).

Finish: Flat and malty, a bit metallic.

Overall: Definitely malty. So-so strong beer. I could mistake it for a generic lager. A good refresher, nothing more.
