Bottle. Golden colour, clear, rocky head with poor lacing. Aroma is malt, wheat, grassy hops. Light bitterness, not sweet. Medium body, lively carbonation. Too similar to lager, but not bad.

raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - OCT 26, 2007
Bottle 0.33 l. Pale yellow gold. Earthy and organic nose. Flavor is similar, intense with a fruity ciderlike touch, slightly sour, but then again full. Very interesting, first I’ve had of this style and would gladly have another one.

MrWalker (926) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 24, 2006
Blonde with neon white head. Probably some wheat in this one. Nice herbal aroma with a hint of vanilla and yeast. Palate is medium body with long finish. Taste more like a belgian blonde than a Biere de Garde. Missing somewhat in herbs and/or sourness. Quite yeasty with a lot of fruits. Nice everyday Belgian.

mauritsio (925) - FINLAND - MAY 26, 2017
,25 bottle from Andorra. Golden with medium head. Fruity, yeasty, quite malty, round mild bitterness. Some fizzy.

strap (915) - Sindelfingen, GERMANY - MAR 14, 2015
Amber with a light head. Effervescent with a little spice, some malts, light fruit with a dry aftertaste. Not bad

dkoonce (911) - People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA - OCT 24, 2008
Can. I guess it’s not aged that long. Clear amber, only slightly darker than a pale lager, with a thick, white head. Malt aroma, with some rich caramel and roasted notes. Sweet, heavy and full body. Finishes a bit sweet and long. But, a distinct style I’ve not explored before.

Ingevara (910) - SWEDEN - OCT 11, 2007
Frothy steady head. Sweet and malty, slightly syrupy. Strong in alcohol which is quite apparent. Aromatic - but not in an entirely positive way.

Bosskie (885) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 31, 2016
Cristal-clear copper-coloured beer, luminous, with a white head. Smell is malty white pepper coriander and metallic honey sweetness. Hint of mint. Taste is bready watery, nice bitterness, well balanced against subtle sweetness. Hint of honey. Astringent finish. Quite OK.

Bawelt (874) - Lyon, FRANCE - FEB 3, 2016
Pauvre. Désaltérante mais que de la flotte. Pour le coup elle est équilibrée. Un fond houblonné un peu belge, un peu de levure. Une pils belge... Pourquoi pas.
