Appearance with golden color and low head.
Aroma not very strong, but you can notice the malt.
Hoppy flavor, bitter and alcohol (7.5%).
A very interesting blonde.
I recommend it! CacheManyHose (749) - HONG KONG - JUL 3, 2014
Bottle. Smells of grassy hop, clove, bit of wheat and yeast. Tastes of grassy hop, Belgian spice, corn. Body is medium slick, spicy/fizzy and quite smooth. Plenty of barnyard in this bier de garde but taste doesn't have much depth. boto (2261) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - MAY 18, 2004
25cl. bottle: The beer pours a golden color, with maybe a tinge of orange in there. A bit of a white, frothy head that subsided quickly. Lots of bubbles on the side of the glass. A lightly spicy aroma. Some sweetness also. The taste is a light caramel, with the still unidentified spices. Tasty, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. This was a really interesting beer. I expected something similar to Bio Jade, but this is quite different. Interesting, "Belgian" even nose, fine head, yeasty flavor with maybe some subdued spices. A bit sourish, too. Not great, but good, and as I said, quite interesting. Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2005
(Bottle 75 cl) Pilsener golden with a limited head. Lots of malt, yeast and some slight citric notes. Sweetish and full-bodied with some musty notes. 110505

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2005 Bottle (650ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc, tupalev - courtesy of tupalev from boutip. Poured clear gold with a small off-white head. Aroma is very sweet, intensely floral, hint of caramel malt, hint of oak, ginger, pepper and yeast as it warms. Taste is a little plain - sweet, all the promise of spice fails to arrive, some yeast at the very end. Mouthfeel watery, syrupy - maybe a little peppery. Smels nice. sunevdj (4096) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - JAN 15, 2006
Pours a clear golden/ light brown with a white head. Substantial lacing. Medium sweet- and sourness. Vague aromas of malts spices. Dry finish. Lacks in spice- and boldness. strings (377) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 8, 2006
Bottle in Avignon. Good for drinking in a park, with a spread of cheese and crackers (until the ranger comes along and scolds you in French for a bit). Nice and smooth with a good bit of fruitiness. rederic (3340) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 20, 2007
Yellow gold color, with an off-white head, leaving laces, yeasty, fruity nose, with a sweet pale malt note, a subtle corny accent, hint of vanilla spiciness, a mild floral hop aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp sweet alcoholic pale malt character, a faint floral hop note, a bit fruity, with a vanilla and honeyish spiciness, leading towards a pale malt maltiness, and a hop bittering finish.
