UPDATED: AUG 11, 2005 Citrus taste, fruity. Great flavor, reminds a Tripel as says caesar. My favorite french beer. brewbear (48) - 3096 Oberbalm, SWITZERLAND - JAN 15, 2004
Nice almond and vanilla, if slightly faint, nose. more almonds and vanilla on the palate, firm maltiness, yet pretty dry. Very easy-drinking for its 7.2%, yet far from being bland. Obviously has to be drunk within the BBE date, not 5 years or so later... :o> PorterPounder (8294) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 25, 2008
Tallahassee, Fl. - Market Square Liquors - 750 ml cork-caged bottle. Dark golden, slightly cloudy pour with a soft, pillowy white head that sticks around. The full glass just says - "refreshment". Fresh aroma with hints of clove, butter and vanilla. Full bodied flavor with some caramel sweetness, some raw cake mix, pears and butterscotch and a back end of vanilla. Thick, rich, creamy mouthfeel. Very impressed with this one - very underrated in my opinion. Really hit the spot on a hot day. Ljunkan (530) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - MAY 30, 2008
330 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Golden color with a pretty nice, dying head. Smells wonderful of orange and clove. Flavor is dominated by a nice malty sweetness, very balanced, with taste of orange, citrus, banana and caramel. This one is very underrated. I will definitely buy this again, both due to the good taste and the low price.

Pretty good beer! Poured with a nice foamy, frothy, white head and a little lace. Color is a clear yellow. Aroma is earthy, yeasty, minerals, not cloying at all. Flavor’s where it’s really good. Spicy, malty, a bit tart sharp, and understated. Enticing without being overdone. Great body and carbonation. Clean and fresh. Very good finish. Slight hint of alcohol. Definitely a session beer. 11.2 oz. bottle. Pours copper with a significant, foamy beige head. The aroma is figs, caramel, and apples. The flavor is malty sweet and a little spicy. The palate is heavy, sticky and a little acidic and astringent. Overall, a powerful and complex beer. Very tasty. crossovert (13914) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 1, 2011
This was a surprisingly delicious BDG. The hops seemed really fresh, just a pleasant beer. Grzesiek79 (4435) - Radom, POLAND - JAN 21, 2012

Butelka 750ml. Na mojej tylko 6 abv zamiat 7,5? Bursztynowy kolor biala obfita piana. W zapachu slody i owoce. W smaku czuc drozdze i owoce orzechy. Lekki cytrusowy posmak ktory nie oslabia jednak slodkosci tego piwa. Jak na produkt abbey podobny i za tak niska cene piwo naprawde dobre. Sprobuje przelezakowac z dwie butelki i ..zobaczymy.
