COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in cans at 8.4. Previously also available in bottles.

K is a distinctive full strength, premium cider expertly pressed with a unique blend of English apples to give a full-bodied flavour and natural rich golden colour. It has always been presumed that ‘X’ means strength however premium liquids of a superior quality have always been marked with a ‘K’

NOTE: The version available in the United States is different.
Previoussly a Gaymers brand but this seems to have been dropped.
In March 2012, C&C stated that they plan to phase out the brand in the UK but have not given any date.

alexmate (226) - South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 6, 2016
Looks: a sort of golden orange colour, high carbonation, but little head or lacing. Nose: not much going on typical apple notes and some acidic citrus. Taste: Very similar to Strongbow, pretty much the same level of dryness. Red and green apples on the taste, some citrus, but not really any chemical taste. Not as bad as I expected, but I’m sure this would give me a bad hangover and stomach if I drank more than a can of it.

Golden color, white head that quickly dissapears. Aroma and flavor has a good presence of alcohol. No apple notes...

Straight from England, and this clearly says 8.4% on the 500ml can, so this is the goddamn legit English version not the pussified watered down version they import to the states. Cred check:

Pours a deep gold with what was an initially large, force carbed head but quickly faded into nothing. Not even a ring. Aromas of sweet apple, some potted meat. Taste is sweet, but nothing sweeter than any "craft" American cider. Nothing off putting here. Alcohol is well hidden. Great beverage. Would drink all the time if the proper version was available on the shelf here. Love this.

This stuff is weird as all get out but I guess you can get drunk on it. It’s a bit darker than apple juice maybe. It’s got a sulfur, bread yeast aroma. It is mostly really bland tasting w/ a bit of meaty soy sauce flavor and a ton of booze, like they poured grain alcohol in it. This is a beverage designed to serve a certain purpose and it does, I just have better ways of going about that sort of thing.

The_Osprey (8499) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2015
500ml can for 80p, 8.4% BB March 2016. Clear orange, sparkling, no head at all. Aroma is water, light apple, apple pie. Nice enough, but faint. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, smooth. Taste is vodka lemonade, noticeable alcohol presence. Some apple and earth, but mostly ethanol. Cold alcohol burn in the oesophagus, gassy on the stomach. Pretty rough, but drinkable.

allmyvinyl (10841) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 10, 2014
Can from the Scotmid. Pours clear orange gold, no head. Strong cooked apple aromas. Taste is sweet. Some booze burn. Bit metallic at the end. Not great.

Roachford (3) - Dublin, IRELAND - NOV 6, 2014 does not count
Strong Appley aroma but lacks nuance. Bright gold corn colour, reassuringly resembles fresh apple juice. Solid Medium cider, with a slightly sour finish.

SarkyNorthener (4719) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2014
Can from local offie. Amber cider, moderate carbonation. Aroma of dry apple core. Taste is dry apple, a touch of tannin, a bit of sugar and apple syrup. A little syrup on the palate. Drinkable.
