Stopped by this place at the recommendation of a local winery. Glad we did! Huge resin nose to this heavily hopped IPA. Nice and piney with little to no aromas of grapefruit skin or flowers. Immediate bite with up front bitterness that is mellowed with a mild, but uncloying, malt sweetness. For me, a little more of the fresh hop flavors and this would be a near perfect IPA. If you’re in the Seneca wine region you must stop by and have some beers here.
Pours a clear amber color with white frothy head. Aroma of grapefruit, toasted malt, and caramel. Grapefruit flavor with caramel, pine, toasted malt, and a quick bitter hop finish. Nice beer. Ron (4063) - Rochester, New York, USA - FEB 3, 2014
On tap at the Brew Pub. Pours a lightly hazed amber with a thin white head. Caramel, grapwfruit, citrus and toast on the nose. Medium bodied, spicy earthy malt. Citrus, grapefruit and toast. Subdued.
