33cl bottle. Poured a brownish color with a nice frothy light beige head. Good formation and perfect duration. Aroma is slightly corianer, toasty and with citrus hints. Flavour is mainly coriander, fruity, moderate yeasty, with a final spicy and moderate bittery. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium to high. rangerred (989) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - DEC 13, 2011
11.2oz bottle poured into a tulip.
Pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small fizzy head. Decent lacing though.
Smells of cherries and dark frutis; figs and plums. A very faint chocolate note as well.
The taste has underlying notes of chocolate with cherries and dark fruit being most prominent. The finish brings out almost a woodiness that is hard to describe. Finished pretty clean with the alcohol well-hidden and barely detectable.
Overall a pretty respectable brew and one that is good for cold winter nights.

Pours a dark reddish copper colour with a thick, slightly off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts, mint and nuts. Flavour of caramel malts, bread, mint, coriander, nuts and some hops. Medium bodied, very smooth mouthfeel and a slightly warming, sweet, nutty finish. Christmassy and quite pleasant.
(Bottle 06/12-2011) Large beige head, clear amber color, spicy taste. BB date 10/2014. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 5, 2011
Bottle. Pours with a hazy brown body and a small off-white head. Aromas are spicy, phenols, medium esters, 4VG (clove), cardamom, medium malt, light oxidation. Seems slightly spicier than just yeast based phenols. Flavors are bready, malty, spicy and a bit boozy. Cinnamon and brown sugar. Light oiliness on the palate which suggests additional spicing to me (who knows). Lively bubbles, probably last years batch (feels like there is a bit of mileage on this beer). oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 4, 2011
Pours a nice dark reddish amber color. Aromas of fruit, and some other hints, maybe some spices, maybe caramel. Flavor is a bittersweet, malty, and a hint of hops with a nice bittersweet finish.
