For more than a century, Saison Voisin was beloved in the famous Hainaut region of Belgium until, in 1989, Leon Voisin closed the little brewery where it was made. The Brasserie des Géants, or ’Giants Brewery’, revived this rustic and historic ale with Monsieur Voisin’s blessing in the year 2001, using an original recipe from 1884. It is light on the tongue and refreshingly fruity and bitter, as a true saison should be.

It’s darker than I would have thought, but still light, spicy, and delicate. Like watching a dude do ballet.

Wonderful beer, light, bitter, balanced, and tasty. My favorite saison, the most bitter saison I have tasted.

Schiuma bianca, fine e persistente. All?olfatto sentori erbacei con note mielate.
