Malty-sweet, rye aroma. Hazy, brown coloured with an off-white lasting, thin head. Taste is sweet, malty (roasted, coffee). Rye in it. Fruits (Oranges). Just a little bitter. Full body. Decent.

Draft. Compliments of Patrick D’hane, owner of Bier Circus. Dark ruby to near brown body. Small tan head. Nose is sort of watery spice and fruit with a weird oddness about it I can’t place. Taste is moderate fruit and hops with yeasty notes coming through. Decent malt character and more of that oddness coming through here as well. Body is mild carbonation and mild spice. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. Medium dry malt start with caramel, light bitterness. Finish is light fruity with bitter. Weak overall flavor, but OK flavor. Chestnut brown body. Large light brown head with big bubbles mounting on the glass. Light aroma with slightly overpowered yeast. Dusty yeast, nutmeg, caramel and banana esters makes their way up the nostrils after a few tries. Moderately sweet and tart on the tongue. Lively carbonation, medium bodied. Fruity malt and spicy herbal tones emane (banana, dried leaves, grapes, almond, chocolate, berries), but remain always hidden by the excessive yeast flavor which brings a mild acid slice in the honest bitter finish that doesn’t seem too clean. Beautiful brown color, deep yet brite. Nice thin head that leaves a thin belgian lace to the finish. The aroma is faint yet reflects roasted malts and rich caramel notes. The flavor is pronunced and rich however, not overwhelming. (Bottled, 0.75l, BBE 2007) Dark red/amber color with large, tight and foamy, slightly off-white head. Slightly sweet and sour, malty and fruity aroma. Fizzily-carbonated, but still very balanced and quite full-bodied palate. A very easily drinkable and pleasant-tasting bruin with well-balaced sweetness.
