A hazy orange beer with a small disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet malty and again with the caramel being most dominant. joergen (29598) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 14, 2007
Clear amber coloured with an off white head.

Amber color; beautiful creamy head. A good balanced Ale, with a good body strength, malty, quite good flavor, also milky (but puke comes out too), but it’s not as special as I remembered.

Cloudy dark amber color with a persistent layer of foam; nice perlage. Wonderful aroma of malt, some hop, caramel, nuts, some phenols; pretty similar to some barley wine, but less sweet.
Excellent body texture, good balance of malty body and strong bitterness with good hop aromas, caramel, chocolate. Ending with a boldly bitter and aromatic final; a lot of caramel as well.
Maybe it has lost some hop freshness, but it has aged well, showing only a very light Madeira character.
An excellent low alcohol Barley Wine, without the alcohol punch.
Millenium Edition - Orangey dark amber; huge, firm malty nose; caramel, wood, robust earthiness; long and balanced malt; touch of dark chocolate. jtclockwork (17604) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 7, 2010
Brownish pour. Very clear. Very strong initial alcohol presence for only 7%. Finish is lighter and smooth. Rated 4/15/03 MiP (16054) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2010
Draught. Mild fruity aroma. Clear chestnut colour. Small tan head. The flavour is nicely roasted and sweetish. Hint of brown sugar. Well-balanced. bhensonb (15962) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 18, 2010
Bottle from Half Time. Pours copper with a large foamy beige head. Mildly floral aroma. Medium body with lightly frothy carbonation. Flavor is malty, light roasted, with floral hop. It’s dryish, but not harshly bitter. Heat is lightly present, and English Strong Ale seems an apt descriptor. Upon reflection the roast malt aspect is fairly strong. All the flavors seem to increase with time. Ratman197 (15608) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAR 11, 2010
Bottle poured a clear dark amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of earthiness, carmel and light fruittiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of earthiness, carmel and light fruittiness with a smooth moderatly bitter finish.
