Not very pale for a pale ale but does not have a harsh linger and better taste towards a European palate.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2016 Bottle into plastic water glass. Dark brown, creamy head. Malty aroma. Medium malt in the mouth, decent hoops. Medium finish. Refreshing, not overly hopped. Solid if nothing terribly special. Reminds me of Newcastle with a bit more hops. markducommun (1231) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2016

More of an Amber ale in my opinion but does have a little bit of a bitter pale ale finish, resembles an American pale more than a British. Minderbinder (3469) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 2, 2015
Pours amber with medium beige head. Some lacing. Aroma is of malt, caramel, citrus. Taste is of malt, caramel, bitterness, citrus. Palate: Medium body. Soft-medium carbonation. Overall: OK, but forgettable. No major flaw. gripweed57 (2970) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - FEB 28, 2015
12 ounce bottle. Bright amber orange with a small bubbly beige head. Faint toasted malt nose. Dry firm toasted malt flavor upfront. Slightly citrus fruit hops in middle with spicy bitterness. Finishes dry and crisp with some astringency. Very British in character.
