Fairly good. A little malty and sweet but finishing kind of bitter. Personally, this wouldn’t be my summer beer as comes across kind of rich, but it’s pretty tasty for anytime, really.
Bottle from the brewery- pours medium copper with little head and no latticing to speak of. Subtle malt aromas but not much more very flat looking with virtually no carbonation. Sour malty bitterness on the tongue with a slight tang on the backside. Very boring. gripweed57 (2966) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - OCT 8, 2015
12 ounce bottle. Pours a dark Amber orange color with a dense creamy beige head. Aroma is of caramel malt and toffee. Rather bold for a summer ale. Flavor brings more caramel/toffee maltiness. A pleasant earthy, spicy hop bitterness balances the sweet malt flavor. Some nuttiness in finish. A complex malty Amber ale unlike most summer ales. 12oz into a nice tree house glass. Pours an Amber with a slight purple haze and ample copper shades. Thin and covering white head, thin layer of bubbles lingers. Lacing is solid. Not a typical summer ale, this has a solid Amber stature rather than a weak and pissy yellow fizz. Aroma of bready malts, caramel malts, Amber grains. Taste of more bready, chewy malts, soft hop entrance in the end. One of the most different summer ales I’ve had. Drinks like a solid Amber. Full bodied, fun, and pronounced. Must go good with lobster. Headbanger (4022) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAR 13, 2015
12oz bottle 3/13/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-40° in English Pint-Pours a medium golden with a decent sized white head. Aroma of hops and grass. Taste of the same with a little banana. This light bodied brew would fit in perfect on a hot summer day. John25 (1291) - Middletown, New Jersey, USA - AUG 27, 2014
Bottle. Clear copper. Yeasty aroma with clove spice and citrus. Taste follows and adds banana. Light and clean. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Purchased in their mixed pack on a trip to Maine. Pours a clean amber colour with a frothy warm cap, good retention and creamy lacing. Hoppy nose with some cereal malts and even banana. Floral hop taste at first with some nice grain malts in the finish. Fruity hints lingers. A nice, refreshing but heavier ale. GIJOE (1258) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - AUG 18, 2014
Pours dark amber with a foamy, off-white head that stays a while. Nose is mostly malty with a hint of hops. Some slightly citrusy notes.
Taste is mild bitterness. Long grapefruity finish.
Medium body. Lively carbonation. Decent brew. edgallow (4619) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 30, 2014
12 oz bottle pours amber with a white head. Aroma of malts, grass and some citrus. Taste is malts and citrus. hbchrist (78) - North Carolina, USA - JUL 23, 2014
This is not a bad beer. It’s lightweight, easy on the palatte and goes down easy. I would serve this to any crowd at a good barbecue. It’s not overwhelming or particularly distinctive in any area, but it’s not forgettable either. It is worth a shot if you haven’t tried it. ganache (6087) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 23, 2014
Bottle. Nose light and pale, lightly grainy but golden malt with a squirt of citrus and dusting of candy. Pours clear amber leaning into copper, short beige head. Very crisp, refreshing full body has caramel and earth, faint cardboard, amber and lightly toasted Vienna-style malts, mild fruit behind the light earth, light chalk, more orange citrus with fainter lemon and grapefruit. A lot more complex than expected, it’s also clean and fresh, and hit the spot.
