Hand-Crafted using a blend of specialty roasted malt; Geist Dark is a hugely rich "black brew". It wears a rich creamy head and gives of a delicate sparkle. Full bodied and intense, Geist Dark evokes aroma of cocoa and coffee. Slightly fruity with a well rounded bitterness. Alcohol content 6.5% by volume.

Bottle in India. The best of the Geist bunch. A generous roast and chocolate flavour with a subtle bitterness.

Brown bottle in Bangalore. Pours an opaque dark brown with a lasting brown head. Medium body with a full mouthfeel. Even dry/sweet balance. Slight chocolate character. Late dry finish. Easy-going dark lager, clean.

Smell of roasted malt, mämmi. Very dark brown colour with beige head. Bitter with faint sweetness afterwards. Aroma of roasted malt, some cocoa and licorice. Lively and plentiful carbon. Rather fresh considering the darkness and alcohol content.
