Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JAN 29, 2011
My first sake rating, so this might sound a bit like a newbie rating.. clear very light off-white pour. Aroma of white wine, some fruits and sour apple. Flavor is quite sweet and alcoholic. Very thin palate and watery texture. I’m not sure sake is for me, but I should give it another shot sometime.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2011 So it has come to this, rating a sake... No idea whatsoever so here goes: Aroma is sour vinegary white wine. Flavour is sweet rice goo. Oh yeah and alcohol. I’ll stick to beer.

Dedollewaitor (16383) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2010
Bottle @ Friday Night Ulfborg Tasting Thing. Thanks to J&C. Pours clear no color - no head. Low and flat carbonation. Rice and alcohol. Thin . .

Ungstrup (38384) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 30, 2010
Bottled. A light golden sake. The aroma has very light notes of rice. The flavor is sweet with notes of rice and alcohol, leading to a dry finish, where the rice note lingers. The alcohol leaves a slight burn in the mouth.

dchmela (3084) - Orlando, Florida, USA - OCT 4, 2010
Glass at Japanese Pavillion at Epcot. Pours clear with a hints of yellow. Aroma is rice, yeast and melon aroma. Taste is chewy rice, yeast and more fruit notes. Really nice.

BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - AUG 30, 2010
Bottle: clear, no legs. The nose is light but very dusty, like wiping off an old shelf into your face, along with that, there’s some apple and kiwi notes. The flavor is clean, mellow impact and a very brief tail. Minimul umami and a touch of alcohol. Good but disappointing for a junmai daiginjo.

fonefan (51064) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2009
Bottle 330ml.
Clear like water with no head. Aroma is friuty, rice, light alcoholic. Flavor is sweet and alcoholic with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20090612]

ilovedarkbeer (2748) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - AUG 10, 2009
Honey dew, grain alcohol, licorice, fusel, light fruits, and flowers. Medium yet grainy finish. Just ok

Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 28, 2009
Pours clear. Smells fruity and sweet. Tastes of rice, sweet fruit, some alcohol on the finish.

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 24, 2009
