Cask gravity at Bexley 7th BF. Hazy deep brown mahogany beer. Lasting beige head. Fruity malty bitter. Rich strawberry fruit. Thats a tasty fulfilling beer. Bloody good. Good bitterness love the fruit. Bit if bovril on aroma. yngwie (17487) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 16, 2014
Bottle. It pours a finger-thick beige head over a brown body. The aroma has some bread crusts, but it’s rather weak. Toffee and dried fruits too. Toffee, chocolate, bread crusts and a hint of bitterness in the flavor. Some pine cone and grass. Medium body, quite dry, with a nice carbonation level. Lasting toffee and bread crust finish. Nothing impressive going on here, but it’s a decent ale for sure. 140816 imdownthepub (15753) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2009
Cask conditioned at The Last Drop Inn, York. Brown red with white head. I got a smokey flavour out of the roased sweet malt, a hint of bonfire, then a sweet toffee / caramel. Not exactly bitter, but reasonable and unusual. gunnfryd (15652) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 19, 2015

500ml bottle from EuroSpar Tomasjord, shared with Richard. Clear reddish-brown body colour. Low beige head. Grainy malts on the nose, mid-sweet. Taste of malts with notes of dark chocolate and coffee offset by dusty hops. Dry malt bitter endnotes. Easy to drink and foods friendly. Alright (Tromsø 18.04.2014).

Pours clear reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral and hint of chocolate. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a caramel and slightly chocolate finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
Bottle picked up by dad from Geltsdale Brewery, cheers dad. Consumed at home Sunday 17.08.13 Reddy brown pour with light tan head. I chilled this (not sure why) so aroma is difficult to pick up. Maybe as it warms ever so slightly perhaps I"m getting a little watery spent coffee grains. Touch chewy with some caramel and biscuit. Its one of yer’ fairly average twiggy brown beers as some would describe them. Its ok. A5 A3 T6 P3 Ov11 2.8 leaparsons (10984) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 10, 2010

Slightly rich aroma. Dark and a little rich on the palate with some dryness in a crisp oyster roast finish.
