Cask gravity at Bexley 7th BF. Hazy deep brown mahogany beer. Lasting beige head. Fruity malty bitter. Rich strawberry fruit. Thats a tasty fulfilling beer. Bloody good. Good bitterness love the fruit. Bit if bovril on aroma. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAY 24, 2007
Cask conditioned - handpump - Cambridge BF. Not what I would call a devilishly red ale. I watched this being poured and saw that it was coming from the pump with the Hell Beck pumpclip, but this to me tasted like a stout. It looked like a stout with its black colour and loose off white head. The aroma has some lactic quality amongst the roast and chocolate. The taste has berry fruits, and is on the light side. Some roast, some lactose, but also some hop. Interesting. chriso (7536) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 9, 2012
Cask (Gravity dispense) at 7th Bexley Beer Festival on 12 April 2012. Copper colour. Reddish tinge. Beige head. Excellent condition. Mellow and fruity but not too sweet. Good balance. Earthy mouthfeel. Late bitterness. Solid traditional style brown bitter. GarethYoung (1111) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUN 27, 2007

carbonation. Roasty earthy crisp bread aroma with cereal and
flowers notes. Dry-sweet earthy roasty toffee taste with grainy
rye crisp bread notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel.
Dryish earthy roasty grainy aftertaste with dusty wooden burnt
notes. Minty toffee notes, too. Lovely, vivid, complex, and
highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle, Meny Strømmen Storsenter.)

A Valentine’s Day brew, bottled, Booths, Windermere. Peachy aroma, the flavour is dry, a hint of grassiness, with apricots coming through. I sensed a cough-mixture like flavour somwhere in there aswell. Full bodied, robust and alcoholic, tastes stronger than its 4.2% abv. Very more-ish, with a dry, yet fruity finish. imdownthepub (15381) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2009
Cask conditioned at The Last Drop Inn, York. Brown red with white head. I got a smokey flavour out of the roased sweet malt, a hint of bonfire, then a sweet toffee / caramel. Not exactly bitter, but reasonable and unusual. Cunningham (8456) - Halden, NORWAY - SEP 21, 2013
