Rating 13- This is just a horrible beer overall as far as Im concerned. I could barely stomach just one can. It is a cheap beer but honestly if you are going for beers just to get drunk on I would steer clear from this and get something like Coors Original or Piels if you can find it. Not much to say about the taste of this beer other than it is highly carbonated with a harsh flavor that I really couldnt stand.

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2016 Can poured into a dof tumbler. Light pale color. Clean, crisp tasting. Non-dairy creamer. Fairly sweet, but nothing overwhelming or gross.

24 oz can @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Barely malt in the aroma. Clear light amber with a lot of rising bubbles, smooth white head that settles to a good inch, blobs and globs of lace. Taste is mostly adjunct (corn or rice) with light carbonation, and a finish that quickly sinks to nothingness. The original Genesee has more going for it. This one looks good, but is otherwise way down the list.

Gold, big bubbles. Disappearing body, no flavor, fizzy, decent heat, refreshing mouthfeel. Low bitterness, off dry, good acidity. Adjunct flavor, corn, yeasty, very little hops, Mediocre. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Looks like a Heineken, smells spongy and damp with a yeasty taste. Draft. Golden body, small white head. Blah.

Watery and mostly tasteless, this beer left zero lasting impression. I then decided to not even try the regular Genesee

Light creamy amber pour. The scent and flavor here is like a skunky fall lager. Not the best cream ale.

Can from Hop City Birmingham, AL. Pours transparent gold with foamy white head. Aroma of corn grain and slightly hoppy. Tastes of grain and just a hint of hops. This is a cheap beer that is much better than Bud or Coors. Perfect for watching football and tailgating.
