Surprisingly not bad. No aroma. Somewhat metallic slimy palate but much better than keystone or something equivalent.Comments

Originally rated on 1/23/2009. It pours a mid yellow, mid carbonated body, not much head. Aroma and flavor of sweet malts, no creaminess to speak of. Overall its passible but not great.

From old tasting notes. Ah, one of the beers of my youth! Medium gold with small bubbles. Moderate creamy white head. Light sweet maltiness with a wisp of hops. Tangy ale flavor is sweet and fizzy. Middle is crisp and light bodied. Finish is just plain non existent. Average flavor at a cheap price.

Pours a clear straw-gold with fizzy white head. Smell is hay, cereal, grass. Taste is mild - sweet more than bitter - cereal and grasses. A step above an adjunct lager - but not very noteworthy.

355ml can. Got the tick of this one in at the holiday work party. Brought it in specifically to try, just realized i forgot to rate it. It is a basic cream ale, treads on adjunct lager waters. Meh.

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2016 Can poured into a dof tumbler. Light pale color. Clean, crisp tasting. Non-dairy creamer. Fairly sweet, but nothing overwhelming or gross.

24 oz can @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Barely malt in the aroma. Clear light amber with a lot of rising bubbles, smooth white head that settles to a good inch, blobs and globs of lace. Taste is mostly adjunct (corn or rice) with light carbonation, and a finish that quickly sinks to nothingness. The original Genesee has more going for it. This one looks good, but is otherwise way down the list.

Gold, big bubbles. Disappearing body, no flavor, fizzy, decent heat, refreshing mouthfeel. Low bitterness, off dry, good acidity. Adjunct flavor, corn, yeasty, very little hops, Mediocre. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Looks like a Heineken, smells spongy and damp with a yeasty taste. Draft. Golden body, small white head. Blah.

Watery and mostly tasteless, this beer left zero lasting impression. I then decided to not even try the regular Genesee
