I love Oatmeal Stouts, and this really nailed the style on the head. Roasted malt, coffee, bitter chocolate, really excellent stuff. Cheers!
It’s good, though nothing special. Aroma and flavor are traditional and typical of the style: roast, toast malts, bittersweet cocoa. This is well balanced along with the texture which is perhaps just a touch thin and carbonation forced. Nice finish. crossovert (13078) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 31, 2015
Draft. Blac pour. Pretty typical oatmeal stout, some light smoke, dry, chocolate bread flavor. mrjaxson (597) - .08 Junction, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 17, 2015
The body is a bit light and there’s more hoppy sharpness than other oatmeal stouts I’ve had, but it was smooth and tasty for my first beer of today. Enjoyed on draft at the GLBC Taproom. bpreo (2854) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - DEC 24, 2014
Great smooth typical oatmeal Stout flavor. Good, but not extraordinary, unfortunately. drywallman (366) - Lake in the Hills, Illinois, USA - MAR 31, 2014
Purchased straight from the brewery in the bomber. Poured black as ink with light white lacing. Aroma was of oatmeal and a bready malt. The malt profile was of bread with a slight brown sugar and nut tinge. Slight oil and coffee, but without a deep roast or burnt aspect. Hops were unnoticeable but obviously matched the malt, and finished fairly clean. A real winner.

Loved this and I don’t like dark beers! Really light compared to most stouts! doubelknv3 (1093) - Illinois, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Black with thin tan-off white head. Mild lacing. Roast, licorice, mild caramel, and mild floral notes. Light bodied stout, flavor like aroma with roast-burnt-smoke notes. Lite lingering bitterness.

Something a little off with this one too. It isn't bad but just has a taste to it I haven't had in a stout before. Black pour. Creamy head. Had this on draft in their taproom. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 30, 2013
Bomber. Poured medium-deep brown with a short, well-retained tan head. The aroma picked up sweet milky chocolates and brown malts with nice accents of burnt toast around the edges.. on the sweet side, but simple, clean, and appealing. The flavor found sweet milk chocolates, molasses, and vanilla throughout, with milky sugars building toward the back.. light roasty bitterness on the edges.. long, lightly tacky, sweet finish. Light-medium bodied and very sweet.. needed a little more roast or bitterness to keep it from being cloying.. overall a decent drinker.
