COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Enjoy this new take on an old favorite. Our slightly-more-hopped amber ale brings unexpected flavor to the classic amber taste. Amber Ales are a common Wisconsin favorite; known for their ’just right’ consistency and flavor. Named for the Cedar-scaped shores on the northern side of Geneva Lake; the view won’t be the only thing that has you coming back for more.

Got a growler of this one at the brewery. It poured the expected amber color with minimal head. The aroma was strongly hopped, as was the taste of a spruce/citrus combination. It went down well and would be a good session beer. It’s more than just "slightly-more-hopped."

A decent amber ale. Slightly sweet and malty with a slight malt hop backbone Pours light orange in color. Had a draft at Geneva ridge hotel.

[Can] Medium shade of amber in color. Not much head or lacing to speak of. Nose is of pine and bready malts. Flavor has a mild vegetal hop kick to it. Otherwise, more caramel, bread and toast notes. Highly carbonated. Almost a soda-like quality to it. Wasn’t great, but not terrible either. Tasting notes from 10/2014.

I loved this Amber Ale from Geneva Lake. It was fresh, buttery, and smooth. Pleasant.

Reddish amber pour. Nose of light citrus and pine hopping with toasted/candied malt hanging in the background. Flavor is toasted malt and citrus hopping. Light nuttiness with lingering hops and caramel/toasted malt. This was quite an enjoyable amber. Much better show than the wheat.

Who watchout! Not your typical Amber. I would have rated this lower if the brewer didn’t warn me ahead of time. What a nice twist on a traditional beer. Plesantly suprised!

Golden-amber, white head, great lacing and head retention. Lemon, floral, grain, and corn aroma. Medium bodied, lemony, tart bitterness that lingers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had this on draft in their taproom. Orange pour. Bitter taste. Carmel and earthy aroma. Not bad

Bomber. Pours a deep amber color. Minimal head and little lacing. Had hopes for this one..... It is slightly more hopped than your average amber but I just cant get past the diacetyl in this one. Maybe its better on tap, IDK.
