Dark brown with a big creamy tan head that looks like nitro. Feela like nitro too. Creamy feel. Rich and muted ala nitro. Coffee and chocolate. It is sweet and has lactic notes. It's quite good. On tap at The Independent Distillery in Tucson, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of coffee upfront, accentuated with a touch of cocoa. nitro tap @ tap & bottle: listed as 5.5% abv american stout, not 7.0%. Nose is roast aromas all the way, not a hint of burnt grains nor weird coldbrew aromatics. Distinct wet grain bag smell, taste is sadly a little watery and light. Finish is again fairly light and water but covered in quite a bit of coffee and roasted aromatics. For me this doesn’t quite come together, with a little bit more body it would be the perfect refreshing low-abv stout but in its current form I cannot get away from the watery feel. Listed as Nitro through Barrio at Strong Beer Fest. Coffee smell. Taste is mocha coffee with some black coffee bitterness in the finish. Medium body, low carbonation, and low foam.

On tap at barrio’s. Dark sparkly cola color with nitrogen head. Some burnt paper smell and coffee on the nose. A bit of sweetness, minerals, hoppy bitterness, not a lot of mocha or java.
