Very good, dependable beer. The flavor is not very complex, but it is pleasing, and there is no noticeable aftertaste. Nice caramel flavor.

When comparing this beer to any other corner store beer Killians comes out on top. I dont care if its Irish, or used to be, or who makes it now. Purchase 1 six pack of every beer at your local corner store and none are as good as this. It does not compete with the higher priced beers but for a SOLID 6 pack under 10bucks, this is the heavy weight champion of a good tasting, caramel like, rich thick dark colored nice looking bottle beer.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2004 100% Guaranteed Hangover. I'm not sure what's wrong exactly, but when I didn't know good beer from bad, I hated this beer. I still don't like this beer. Gotta give it credit for a good label, brew color and bottle, though.

Can this be from Coors? More Ale like when introduced; now lagery. Still, unlike any American macro-brewery pisswater. Almost up to European quality. Light body, but flavorful. Good nose and very nice color. If you are hurting for cash, short on time and prefer European, this is a good value.

All show, no go! The packaging is great. It looks like a great beer but unfortunately, whatís in the bottle doesnít live up to the hype. I remember when Coors launched their original Killianís, back in the early 80s...it was an ale! Obviously, Coors didnít sell enough so they took it back to the brewery and re-tooled it into a lager. The result is a bland, watery, flavorless mess. Thereís just no depth, no malt feel and no complexity to this product. Hint to Coors, George Killian Lettís family brewed ale not lager. This is nothing like an authentic Irish beer.

I love this beer. Not too expensive, and tastes a lot better than most beers in itís price range. Not an overpowering taste, pleasant all around. Definetly the beer to buy if I was going to a party or for most any occassion.

Letís make no mistake about this. George Killian Lett may be an Irishman, but other than making quite a few pounds off of it, he has nothing to do with brewing this schlock. In fact, his family beer was an ALE (that recipe still made by Pelforth in France), but Coors has corrupted the original to a sickly sweet lager, light enough for American tastes. Still an Irish company my ass.

It is still an Irish Company. Coors purchased part of it and all of its American Sales, and brewing rights in the states. For the price you pay, this is the best beer you can get out of a gas station. Its an overall winner for a wide spread beer, king of the low lvl macro beers.
