dark black pour - aromas of roasted malt and coffee - very robust, a little bitterness from the roasted malts but otherwise it’s not that bad, especially for a Killian’s... Scary_Version (3) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 2, 2013 does not count
Nice color. Good beer. Not to strong not to weak.

12oz twist-off bottle. Dark pour, light brown foam. pretty good lace. Looks and smells like a stout, surprisingly. Aroma of roasted malt, burnt notes. Tastes like roasted grains. Dry finish, burnt flavors adding bitterness. Coffee-like bitterness lingers in the end. A touch of floral hops hidden in there as well. Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma of smooth burnt malt. Med body. Flavor is smooth burnt malt with some possible coffee hints. Not getting chocolate. It is certainly dry, but not all that bitter. Fairly tasty critter. Finally getting a little chocolate. SSSteve (4006) - - APR 30, 2013

Not as bad as I was expecting, very much like a shitter but more robust guinness. mtwhitney (168) - Maui, Hawaii, USA - APR 15, 2013
I honestly do not understand the low ratings for this. Maybe it is lacking somewhat in the aroma department, and the head is a little thin, but overall a worthy competitor to other stouts, and more affordable as well. Coors should get some thanks. 12 ounce bottle from Kroger - Hydraulic - Charlottesville. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a large foamy brown head. Good head retention. You gotta love a wave of skunk upon opening a brown bottle. Aroma of skunk, caramel, grain, mild chocolate. The taste is chocolate, grain, hoppy finish. Thin bodied. gregwilsonstl (2707) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 9, 2013
