4.6% cask handpull at The Ship & Mitre Liverpool. Clear deepish gold colour lasting white head. some soft malt says its a pilsner but taste like an ale yeast to me. Kolsch maybe. Anyway. Its got some dusty hop and its a golden ale. Ok. ManVsBeer (10280) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2014
Bottle. Golden with a thick frothy head. Lager style ale, but with a smooth malt texture that goes down well in the palate. Not high on flavour though. Pizd (435) - Merseyside, ENGLAND - SEP 15, 2013
(Bottle): Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of fruit, malt, butter, bread and a little citrus. Similar notes in the taste. Well balanced and very drinkable. McNeillR (2315) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 5, 2013
Dark blonde body, white frothed milk head. Watered down lemon nose. Clean and crunchy light malt, wee bit sickly oily mouthfeel. Hops blow smoke on initial taste but more weird chive and herby edge to it. Sweetened finish with an over green hop linger." kwik-lime (1915) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2013
Cask, JDW, Liverpool Airport
Cask from Euston Tap. Quite floral, earthy hops dominate but some malt to balance. Pleasant golden ale.

21 Feb 2013: Liverpool John Lennon airport, The Argosy, a Wetherspoons while waiting for a flight to Berlin. Two hand-pulled pints into UK sleeve glasses.
Golden body with a creamy head in both colour and texture.
The whole thing was a fine blend of flavours: the hops and barleys complimented each other very well and I really enjoyed the two pints. The hops just about took control, but overall it seemed a well balanced beer and easy to drink. Nothing complicated, just a good basic beer.
I’ve only had beers from this brewery within Liverpool airport: I always head for The Argosy now to see what is on offer from Wrights. cgarvieuk (24236) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 27, 2011

A Mes rate. Cask at the Market Porter.johndoughty (5403) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 24, 2010
Clean gold with a thin white head. Fruity malt with some definite overseas character. A decent amount of grassy hops. Nicely balanced. Good citric notes in the finish. Just a little too slick and juicy. Not bad.
Bottle. Golden and flat. Some hoppiness but fairly bland. The label says that its a premium lager but to my mind it was more like a an average bitter.
