Tap @ Pint Defiance. Hazy orange-amber pour with a short, white head with decent retention and leaving moderate lace. Nose is all danky fresh hops. Medium body with moderate, fine carbonation and a finishing oily mouth feel. Pine, ganja, dank hops, biscuit, toast and a touch of grapefruit. Finish is medium and dry, but prolonged by the hop oils coating the mouth. The balance here is interesting: I was expecting a lot of bitterness, but there’s not an excess of it there. Nor is there much fruit or flowers. This one is all ganja, pine and funky hops. Not a sessionable IPA, but should be sought out for a trial. One of the better fresh hop beers this year.
Hazy amber color with ivory head. Big spicy, dank hop aromas with light toasted malt. Medium body with average co2. Huge spicy, dank, earthy hoppy bitter flavors on a light pale malt base brew--very good sheet.
