2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Light amber pour, nice head and lacing. Not much nose at all. What’s there is stale biscuit, almost tinny. Flavor shows some hip character, but it fades quickly. Bit of herb, grassy, then bland malt. Slick finish with nothing else.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pint at Shuckers. Pours light amber, rapidly disappearing white head. Soft carbonation. It’s light generally. Crisp, dry, hints of hops and citrus but it’s all a little lightweight for me. Quaffable mind.

On tap at Von’s Seattle. Crisp finish, fruity but not overly hopped, easy to drink this is a well made beer.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught pour @ SeaTac Seattle Taproom. Pours a cloudy golden orange. Nose is... well bland? Flavour is pretty much the same, there really isn’t much here but a slight hoppyness.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap in Cactus in Seattle. Looked like a pale ale, perhaps deeper in colour than many pale ales in the region. Rather wishy washy unfortunately, lacking definition in malt or hops and just a bit bland. Perfectly drinkable and pleasant but felt like it has been left behind by more modern pale ale recipes.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at The Irishmen in Everett Wa. A non description but we’ll made and tasty pale ale. The grain bill is savory with a slight toastiness. Slight piney hops. Not bad.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is a well balanced pale ale. It is slightly darker and and has a stronger malty flavor than most Northwest pales. The hops are not overbearing, making this beer a good choice when sharing a pitcher with friends.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap. Pours a cloudy tan with a creamy sand head and good lacing. Aroma is of wood, straw, milk, and light citrus. Very similar flavors to the aroma accompany a particularly creamy mouth feel. Taste is slightly dull. A little funky on the aftertaste but overall pretty good.
